Rentals

Conveniently located in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia, Yellow Bicycle Theater is an ideal venue for workshops, team meetings, company retreats, private parties and much more.

The rental rate is $120 per hour plus tax (see Rules for minimums). Events with food and drink are subject to a $50 cleanup fee. Tech and front of house are available as add-ons. Insurance Canopy offers event insurance starting at $88.

Add-ons

Front of House – $30/h

Venue employee to run front of house in the lobby. For safety reasons, the street entrance must remain locked unless someone is running front of house in the lobby. Please note that the venue does not provide online ticketing services. We recommend using ticketscandy and square.

Tech Operator – $40/h

Venue employee to run front of house in the lobby. For safety reasons, the street entrance must remain locked unless someone is running front of house in the lobby. If frequent access to the locked entrance is required, the Guest may also request a code to the digital lock box.

Tech/Front of House Package Deal – $50/h

Venue employee to run both front of house and tech at the same time. Tech can be run remotely from the lobby by means of QLab remote and a video monitor.

Rules

1. The minimum is 3 hours on Friday and Saturday night and 2 hours at all other times.

2. Guests may enter venue up to 15 minutes early. Overages beyond 15 mins are billed by the half hour.

3. Street entrance must remain locked unless Guest or Host runs Front of House in lobby (see add-ons).

4. A $50 cleanup fee is charged for events where food/drinks are served (see add-ons).

5. Event insurance is required for events with alcohol ($88 at insurancecanopy.com).

6. Alcohol sales are not permitted, unless by a licensed caterer.

7. Unauthorized use of copyrighted material is not allowed.

8. Smoking and vaping are not allowed.

9. Host will be present in the back office to provide support. A dedicated tech operator may be hired as an add-on.

10. Guest may cancel up to 30 days prior to event for a 50% refund. Later cancellations are non-refundable.
